Staying at this hotel with my large family, including my niece, was pretty enjoyable. We loved the location, just five minutes from the charming marina where we took a boat trip to Isla Saona-it was dope watching the fish jump and the birds fly around!
For dads, it would be great if there were more family-friendly activities available.

The location was prime,. Overlooking the sea and small harbor, we loved relaxing here. Staff were always around and helpful whenever we needed something. The breakfast options were plenty and tasty, with a cool little cafe nearby.
One area for improvement would be to offer more evening entertainment options, as there weren't too many activities available after dark.

I really loved the cozy atmosphere and the wonderful view of the turquoise beach. However, I was a bit disappointed that the buffet options were quite repetitive daily. Overall, I would definitely return.

missingWrote a review on 03 Julgreat viewsdelicious fishlimited englishno real beachbasic amenities
The quaint location serves as a perfect hub for water sports, and the grilled fish served here is a good highlight. Rooms are spacious, clean, and come with fridges and small balconies offering pleasant water views. The basic amenities might not suit everyone's taste. Communication can be tricky due to the staff's limited English, and the nearby marina lacks a real beach for swimming that's your priority.

I got a great deal at Hotel Bayahibe. The twin room had two big, comfy beds and a small balcony with a sea view. I loved relaxing out there after a long day. Daily towel changes were a nice touch, and having free bottled water in the room was super convenient. The breakfast at Dona Clara's on the beach was satisfying. The local spots offered authentic and affordable options instead of dining at the hotel. The location near restaurants and the marina made it easy to hop on a boat to Isla Saona. On the downside, some reception staff were unhelpful when I needed information about local transport. The bathroom lighting was dim, and the Wi-Fi only worked in the lobby, a hassle. Be prepared for early mornings due to the roosters crowing around 5 am, definitely bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper! Still, happy with the value and the vibe of Bayahibe, especially if you're into local culture and fine views.

Reasons to love it, and reasons not to
The location is charming. The cozy atmosphere is perfect for independent travelers looking to immerse themselves in local culture.
The inconsistency in room quality can ruin your stay. A lack of responsiveness from management during issues is also disappointing, highlighting deficits in customer service.

Convenient location, clean rooms, and great breakfast options. We loved the hotel's proximity to various attractions and the fact that our room was super clean. The breakfast spread had a wide range of choices and was delicious. A drawback was the occasional difficulty in connecting to the Wi-Fi in the rooms. Nonetheless, overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in beautiful Bayahibe.
